To increase the longitudinal tensile modulus of a unidirectional continuous E-glass fiber-reinforced epoxy, some of the E-glass fibers are
replaced with T-300 carbon fibers. The total fiber volume fraction is kept unchanged at 60%. Assume that the E-glass and T-300 carbon
fibers in the new composite are uniformly distributed.

1. Calculate the volume fraction of T-300 carbon fibers needed in the new composite to double the longitudinal tensile modulus.
