A mass m = 8.00 kg at a height h = 6.72 m above the ground initially with velocity v = 1.24 m/s down a frictionless inclined plane slides a distance d = 2.00 m along the inclined plane before smoothly transitioning to a horizontal motion on the plane. The mass then encounters a horizontal friction surface (μk = 0.340). Calculate the velocity of the mass when it has traveled a distance x = 0.120 m along the friction surface.
