For the network shown in Fig. 2.38, calculate

(a) the total circuit resistance,

(b) the supply current,

(c) the p.d. across the 12 Ω resistor,

(d) the total power dissipated in the whole circuit and

(e) the power dissipated by the 12 Ω resistor.
