1.An open rectangular tanks is 3m wide and 4m long. The tank contains water to depth of 2m and oil (SG=0.8) on top of the water to a depth of 1m. Determine the magnitude and location of the resultant force acting on one end of the tank (i.e. 3m high by 3m wide).

2.Calculate the temperatures of the object with the indicated solar albedo and IR emissivity placed out in the sun where solar radiation is 1100 W/m^2. Assume a rectangular shape of length 4 m and width 3m. Assume no conduction of convective heat loss. Solar albedo=0.8. IR emissivity=0.9
