Calculate the speed of the particle at the given positions


A simple pendulum comprises of an object hanged by a string. The object is supposed to be a particle. The string, with its top end fixed, consists of negligible mass and doesn’t stretch. In the lack of air resistance the system oscillates by swinging backward and forward in a vertical plane. When the string is 1.95 m long and forms an initial angle of 31.0o with the vertical, compute the speed of the particle at the given positions.

(i) At lowest point in its trajectory.

(ii) If the angle is 15.0o
