Calculate the rate of heat exhausted by the air condition

A typical house is built on a cement slab with four walls and a roof. The thermal conductivities of the four walls, the roof, and slab are Kw, Kr, and Kf with thickness Lw, Lr, and Lg respectively. You may assume that the walls, the roof, and the cement slab have the same surface area. In a hot summer night, the outside temperature is To=120ºF and the ground temperature is Tg=65ºF. The interior of the house is maintained at Ti=75ºF by an air condition unit working continuously.

1) Calculate the rate of heat exhausted by the air condition unit.

2) Suppose the air condition unit is operated at its maximum efficiency (in a Carnot cycle) with a coefficient of performance, E. What is the power consumption of the air condition unit?
