Calculate the minimum radius c and the maximum length of

A flat-faced radial follower is driven through a total displacement of 1.6 in. The follower moves upwards 0.40 in. with constant acceleration for 60°, 0.80 in. with constant velocity for 60°, and the remaining 0.40 in. with constant deceleration for another 60° of coma rotation. The follower dwells for 45° and returns with simple harmonic motion as the cam completes its revolution.
For each type of motion, write an equation expressing displacement S as a function of cam angle θ. These equations should be written so that the displacement, measured from the zero position, can be calculated for any cam angle by the use of eh proper equation. Calculate the minimum radius C and the maximum length of contact for each type of motion. Specify the minimum radius of the cam and the length of the follower face.
