a) calculate the magnitude of the repulsive electric force between two protons packed together in an atomic nucleus, assuming that their separation is fixed at 2.4x10^-15m.

b) In the absence of any other forces, what would be the magnitude of the instantaneous acceleration of one of the two protons if it were released. (just consider these two protons in the nucleus)
