A sealed tube has a volume of 2 in3 and contains a certain fraction of liquid and vapor H2O in equilibrium at 14.7 psia. The fraction of liquid and vapor is such that when heated the steam will pass through the critical point. Calculate the heat transfer when the steam is heated from the initial state at 14.7 psia to the critical state.
