A mine pumping station has a centrifugal pump which operates against a static head of 50m. The delivery pipe has a diameter of 0.1m and a total length of 120m. Assume a constant pipe resistant coefficient of 0.018. The valves, intake loss and fittings can be represented by K=8.5. Calculate the discharge and the hydraulic power. Check the pipe resistance coefficient if the ks/D is 0.002.
