Calculate the diameter of the rod when under load

A 10 mm diameter rod of 3003-H14 aluminum alloy (E = 70 GPa, Yield = 145 MPa, Tensile = 150 MPa, Poisson's ratio = 0.33) is subjected to a 5,850 N tensile load.

(a) Calculate the diameter of the rod in mm when under load.
(b) Calculate the diameter, for the same material, if the 5,850 N load is compressive.
