Calculate the constants using taylor-s tool life equation

At a surface cutting speed of 190 m/min the productive tool life was 60 minutes. At a surface cutting speed of 225 m/min the productive tool life was 45 minutes.

(a) Assuming that Taylor's Tool Life Equation applies calculate the constants 'n' and C.

(b) Using these calculated values what would the required cutting surface be if a tool productive life of 30 minutes was required.

(c) Calculate the required spindle speed and feed rate mm/min.

(d) Calculate the material removal rate.

If the material has a unit power factor of 2.85 W/mm3/sec. and the machine has a spindle efficiency of 92% calculate the power requirement for the cutting tool.
