Use( f'c=3,000 psi) and( fy=40,000 psi). Use a beam width of 12 inches, a total depth of 22 inches and an effective depth of 19.5 inches. Sketch the beam section in detail. How many bars of size number 8 will be require and will they fit in one or two rows if you use stirrup number 3, and a 1.5 inch concrte cove.
