Calculate the acceleration and the velocity of body


A pulley is attached to the ceiling rafter and a single rope is passed over the pulley so that a 5kg body B is supported on the right and a 5kg body A is supported on the left. A 1kg collar C is held up so that it loosely surrounds the line on the left side and is 500cm above the 5kg body A. The collar is then released and strikes the body A. Calculate the acceleration of A, of B, and the velocity of each 2 seconds after C impacts A.
