Calculate rate of heat and work and power for the processes


A system consisting of 1 kg of H2O undergoes through the following two processes:

Process 1-2: Constant-pressure heating up from saturated vapor at 10 bar.
Process 2-3: Constant-volume cooling down to P3, T3.

(a) Determine the following properties: temperature, pressure, specific volume, quality (if any) and specific internal energy, for states: 1, 2 and 3.

(b) Calculate the rate of heat and/or work and power for the processes described above, neglecting kinetic and potential energy effects.

(c) Sketch the cycle on T-v and p-v diagrams.
