Target Market:
Our target market is current Kennesaw State University students ages 18-23, and particularly the female population. The XP Power Performance Room encourages students to live healthy lifestyles by using the fully equipped workout room. This room provides the training equipment needed to tone, and maintain an ideal body figure.
The Idea: Our event is designed to create student awareness and encourage a healthy lifestyle through the use of the XP Power Performance Room at Kennesaw State University. The XP Power Performance Room is a room that is aimed at people who lift a respectable amount of weight between 55 and 150 pound dumbbells. The room is equipped with a power cage and platform perfect for Olympic lifting, including calibrated bumper plates, needle bearing bars, a heavy bag, and the room is rounded out with a plate loaded T-bar row and TRX Suspension Trainer. Our mission is to raise awareness to the females at Kennesaw State University who might be intimidated by the male population that use this room to workout.
Goal: By promoting the XP Power Performance Room we would like to increase student participation and utilization of the equipment, and motivate students to exercise in a fun, entertaining, and respectful sports event that will help raise awareness to KSU students. We would like to increase the population by 5%. By doing this we will pass out flyers, surveys, participate in the event by working out in the performance room and use social media such as facebook and twitter.
