Homework: Research Big Data Analytics for Decision Making
Length: 5 to 7 pages.
For this homework, do the following:
o Read the article listed in the resources section, "Beyond the hype: Big data concepts, methods, and analytics."
o Search the NCU library site for at least four additional recent (less than four years old) academic journal articles on the topic of data analytics.
o Briefly summarize all the articles you considered.
o Provide your personal assessment of the current status of research in the field (i.e., are there many such articles, indicating possibly a mature research field, only a few articles, indicating perhaps a new research area emerging, etc.).
o Try to focus on a relatively narrow subtopic of data analytics, such as big data, data mining, text mining, etc.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
