My Letter of Intent and Need
An important mechanism for demonstrating one's need for WrapAround Supports is an applicant's Letter of Intent and Need that should be no longer than two type-written pages.
The letter should briefly outline the origin of your interest in a nursing career and provide some insight into your interest in the Long-Term Care (LTC) and Home and Community Care (HCC) areas of practice, as well as your financial and family situations.
At a minimum, the letter should contain the following:
Your contact info.
Introduction: Key information about you, your current work and career goals.
1) Body 1: Briefly state your why you chose nursing as a career and discuss your interest in the areas of LTC and/or HCC.
2) Body 2: Explain why you require the additional support offered through the WrapAround Supports component of the BEGIN program and how the supports will impact your education, professional development and well being.
