•Death of a relative
• injury or illness
•A relative becomes hospitalized and you are their primary caregiver

What would be an example of an acceptable change concerning my situation?

An acceptable change needs to validate that the barrier and/or problem which caused you to not meet SAP in the past will not restrict you moving forward. The following solutions are examples of this:

•Your grieving period over the death of a relative has subsided

If your SAP Appeal is granted and you meet your Academic Plan, when SAP is calculated again it will be possible for you to either cumulatively meet SAP or still progress to Dismissal SAP status. It will only be expected that you adhere to the next Academic Plan which will be additionally developed and emailed to you for the subsequent term. If you cumulatively meet SAP, we will issue you an email notification to make you aware; however, no action will be necessary!

If your SAP Appeal is granted but you do not meet the conditions of your Academic Plan, you will be dismissed from our university.
