Problem: Whether it be the nutmeg (Ghosh), imperial importers (Go), asylum seekers (De Leon, FitzGerald, The Swimmers), global norms (Chorev), diasporic subjects (Biswas), or infection diseases (White), we have examined contemporary globalization and transnationalism through several different "movers." Each of these movers provides us with a different perspective on the politics of contemporary globalization.
