• Briefly describe the outbreak in terms of key descriptive concepts (person, place, time) and the epidemiologic triad (i.e., host, agent, environment).
• How did people affected differ from those not affected, if at all. How was the outbreak initially discovered and how was it investigated. Was a definitive diagnosis made in all cases reported or were there possible, probable, and definitive case definitions? Comment on the diagnostic criteria that were used.
• Describe efforts made to control the outbreak. How is the incident you recounted consistent with the definition of epidemiology?
