Bribery and extortion:
Case: I am responsible for negotiationg with an Asian government the terms under which my company will build and operate an auto plant in the country. I have the US councel and a law firm with Yale trained lawyers. But, my collegues suggest I hire the local speaker of the house, who is a lawyer, to help represent me in the negotiation. I am aware that the House must eventually approve the agreement you negotiate.
Question: Whom would you hire?
