Blood pressure is related to the force of blood pushing


Problem: Blood pressure is related to the force of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries as your heart pumps. Really high blood pressure is 160 mm Hg (gage pressure).

Part A: What is the minimum length of a vertical tube open to the atmosphere and connected to a vein of a person with really high blood pressure needed to accommodate the rise of fluid within the tube? Use a rblood = 1.02 g cm-3
