You are required to choose a typographer and explore how their designs have impacted on graphic design and more broadly, how they may have impacted on a part of society.
You are to demonstrate your understanding by exploring and analysing a variety of points including:
– What has influenced their design/typography
– Where has the designers work been utilized
– How have they explored typography through their designs
– What is conceptual about their designs
From your research and own analysis you are to present a written report of 1000 to 1200 words. Remember not to reiterate information but create a report that explores and analyses all aspects of your chosen typographers work.
Do not write any bibliographical information about the typographer unless it is important to the analysis of the typographers work. Make sure to include images of the work being discussed.
