Assignment task: For the second biblical interpretation assignment, students will be asked to answer biblical exegesis and hermeneutical paper. Students will choose one biblical passage that they have already reflected upon within one of the eight modules and delve deeper into interpreting the text and its meaning for today. The goal of this assignment is for the student to demonstrate an understanding of the argument of a New Testament text in its historical and literary setting (exegesis), and critical analysis of that text's significance for living life in today's context (hermeneutics).
