Prepare two drawings of the cover plate shown in Fig. 17-14. Use point-to-point dimensioning on one drawing for the holes; use datum or coordinate dimensioning on the other drawing. Work with customary or metric dimensions as directed by your instructor. Only the dimensions locating the holes need be shown. Below each drawing prepare a chart listing each hole and its X and Y coordinates. The letters shown at the holes indicate the sequence in which they are to be drilled. Note the location of the origin. Scale 1:1.
