Resumes and cover letters are the first indication a potential employer receives about candidates. A very important part of both your cover letter and resume include your externship experience. For this assignment, you will search for a medical assisting job and draft a cover letter (using Optimal Resume for a cover letter template) for your instructor to review. Be sure to include the skills and experiences you have encountered at your externship site and how they enhanced your professional and technical skills.
