1. Describe a real-world problem you have encountered, in either your personal or professional life, in which you needed to use fractions or decimals to solve the problem. Explain the strategy that you used to solve the problem in addition to the actual solution.
2. Search the internet to find another example for which basic math is used in a business context. Present this application to the class and explain why you choose the example. Include the URL for the site you used. Do not copy the text in the site verbatim. You should summarize your findings.
