Granite Oaks Homebuilding, Inc. is a publicly traded corporation which has a defined benefit pension plan in place for its employees. Under generally accepted accounting principles, as a measure of the company's pension liability, Granite Oaks should not use:

a) The projected benefit obligation.

b) The accumulated benefit obligation.

c) The vested benefit obligation.

d) Either the vested benefit obligation or accumulated benefit obligation.
