Based on the given sample data calculate the probabilities

The file P20_01.xlsx contains data on the amount of soda (in ounces) placed in aluminum cans by a particular filling process. The filling process should place between LSL = 11.95 ounces and USL = 12.05 ounces of soda in each can. Every hour, 4 cans of soda were randomly selected from the production process and measured for amount of fill. This was repeated for 25 consecutive hours.

a. Based on the given sample data, calculate the probabilities that this process will yield soda cans

(i) falling below the lower specification limit and

(ii) exceeding the upper specification limit.

b. Represent your results found in part a in parts per million (ppm).

c. Estimate Cp and Cpk. If a difference exists between these two capability indexes, explain it.
