Potassium chloride, KCl, is a common salt found dissolved in the cytoplasm of nerve cells. When dissolved in the cytoplasm it dissociates into K+ and Cl- ions. Based on the chemical structure of water, explain in detail why water is such a good solvent for KCl. i.e. why does KCl go into solution very easily.
