The ball launcher in a pinball machine consists of a spring which has a force constant of 1.39 N/cm. The surface on which the ball moves is inclined a = 17.7o with respect to the horizontal. When the spring is at first compressed 5.78 cm, determine the launching speed of a 0.117 kg ball if the plunger is released. Friction and the mass of plunger are negligible.
