Average force exerted on the ball through the bat

A baseball of m = 135 g approaches a bat horizontally at a speed of 40.3 m/s (that is, 90 mi/h) and is strike straight back at a speed of 45.3 m/s (that is,101 mi/h). When the ball is in contact with the bat for a time of 1.15 ms, determine the average force exerted on the ball through the bat? Avoid the weight of the ball, as it is so much less than the force of the bat. Select the direction of the incoming ball as the positive direction.
