Autocratic societies are able to keep religious conflict at a minimum. There is more of such conflict when we have freedom of speech as hate speech generally falls under that umbrella.
However, when economic times are good, as many students pointed out last week, such conflict remains at a minimum. Do we see this happening in the United States?
For example, would the recent rioting in Ferguson, fall into any of these categories?
