You should analyze the film and construct an original argument through one of the following methods: Historical analysis: Construct an argument in relation to a specific historical moment (the end of WWII; the rise of art cinema; the political counter-culture; etc.). Or you can use the film to discuss historical change in terms of style, technology, or political-social events. National context: Construct an argument about the film in relation to the film's country of origin. At what level-the story's resolution; the main characters; the central problem; the dialogue, etc-does the national context manifest itself?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
