Write about A Stroll by Guy de Maupassant. Discuss the following questions:
Why do people suffer? Why does Leras commit suicide?
At the end of the story Leras is shocked into a new and dismal perspective about his life. What is the cause of Leras' awakening? Why does he see things so differently? Is his way Leras sees his life at the end of the story more objectively than the way he sees his life at the beginning.
