A carport is covered by a 20-m long, 4-m-wide flat roof (its length is parallel to the prevailing wind). The boundary layer thickness was measured at the end of the (20-m) roof and found to be 25 cm thick. Assuming turbulent flow along the whole surface, estimate the wind speed and the drag force on the roof (from both upper and lower boundary layers). Use air properties from Table 1.1.
