Assignment is to analyze critically the strategy of a real company or large organization and create a presentation of the strategy. It includes analysis of the external environment, industry analysis, determination of strategic groups, internal analysis of the company and evaluation of existing strategy along with assessment of potential risks. Furthermore, students are required to make suggestion(s) on how should company proceed in future in order to overcome potential threats and weaknesses, use the opportunities and strengths in order to increase their competitive advantage and sustainable development. Written format of the project also includes Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Brief Description of the company, Analysis part, Recommendation Part, Implementation of suggested strategy and Conclusion. The presentation should answer the question “A strategy should lead to success – how will the strategy you are assessing do that or not?” Criteria the work will be evaluated upon: · Understanding of the theoretical concepts and ability to use them in the analyses; · Critical thinking applied on both: theoretical frameworks and the real life case analysis; · Ability to turn the knowledge into a short sharp summary that both explains the strategy in terms of a recognized theory or theories and gives a clear analysis of how and why it will work or not · Ability and quality of team self-reflection upon the provided subject. · Power point presentation, video material and presentation skills of the group · Project has to be submitted also in written format (up to 10 pages, double-spaced, excluding exhibits, 12pts font size) · Cross-group evaluation of Project papers and presentation (format will be given)
