Assignment Description and Instructions: The business case study analysis is an analytical exercise which will require students to think critically about a scenario, employ the necessary problem-solving skills and prepare a business case with word limit of 1,000 words. The business case is an integral document in project management because it justifies the need for a project.

The format for the case study analysis/ business case document is as follows:

1. Table of Contents - Include all headings and sub-headings, with page numbers.

2. Executive Summary - Briefly describe the major problems being faced by the sponsor.

3. Statement of the Problem - Identify the short-term and long-term problem/ problems and the root cause/ causes facing the sponsor.

4. Cause of the Problem - Provide a detailed analysis of the problem/problems identified in the Statement of the Problem. Use information from the case and other sources (which must be referenced) to support your points.

5. Solutions - Highlight possible solutions for the problem/problems identified. For each solution provide reasons why it would be beneficial and explain why it should be chosen instead of another solution. When assessing solutions, you should include potential risks, financial budgets and estimated timelines as part of your comparison.

6. Recommendations - Summarize the selected approach/ approaches for how the project will address the problem.

7. Appendices - Include any figures or tables that were referred to in the business case.

8. References - All sources that appear in your report must be listed in the reference list.
