Assignment: "Taking Notes on a Text"
After you have viewed the video for Module #3 - "Cornell Notes" - practice the strategies that you have learned about by setting up a Cornell Notes page and taking notes on the text assigned by your instructor.
Instructions:
• Make a hard copy of the reading assignment.
• Set up a one-page Cornell Notes.
• Take notes from the materials using the "Notes" section of the Cornell Notes page. You do not need to include a Summary.
Bring your marked and annotated copy and Cornell Notes to class and be prepared to share and discuss with your classmates. You will hand in this assignment at the end of class. This assignment will be graded.
