Assessment producing a prezi online informational resource

Assessment: Producing a Prezi online informational resource

Assessment overview

For this assessment you are going to be both consumers and producers of information. In order to make the most of the value of social collaboration, you will be doing this as part of a small team. Working in teams is common in both academic and professional environments and the capacity to collaborate is becoming increasingly important; it is predicted that "working in a virtual team will be one of the top 10 skills an employee will need to have by 2020" (Swinburne Online, 2015).

The purpose of this assessment is to apply the skills and knowledge you have gained in the unit so far and to experience online teamwork and collaboration. Your task is to research a topic and then use Prezi (online publishing tool) to create an informational resource that would be of value to anyone with an interest in this topic.

Assessment details-

1. Select a topic from the following list:

  • learning theories.
  • online teamwork.
  • communication styles.
  • learning styles.
  • conflict resolution.

2. Research that topic, using credible sources of information

3. Use Prezi to produce an informational resource related to your topic.

The following is a break-down of the components that you need to be aware of in order to construct this information resource. You must incorporate the following elements into your final submission:

-Team focus

-Introduction

Include an introduction for the resource.

-Credible sources

Ensure that credible sources are used in the research, demonstrated through the use of supporting citations in the Prezi.

-Collaboration in the development

Your teamwork must be demonstrated by being recorded in your team's Group Discussion Forum in Blackboard.
