Problem: Psychopathy
Today, a great deal is known about individuals with psychopathy who are caught committing crime. Thanks to the work of Dr. Robert Hare and many others, psychopathy may be one of the most important constructs in today's criminal justice system. Considering psychopaths, the age-old question comes to mind: is it nature, nurture, or a combination of both? Are these individuals born as "bad seeds," or do their environments shape their behavior?
