Assess how well the training is being applied

Problem:

If you are only willing to give the $15,000 for training, it is not enough. Coaching sessions with learner's managers and follow up visits are essential to ensure that the training is effective and that learners are able to transfer what they have learned to the workplace. Coaching sessions ensure that managers are aware of the training and can provide support to learners as they implement what they have learned. Follow up visits allow trainers to assess how well the training is being applied and make necessary adjustments.

The training that is being put together is not enough because it does not provide the learners with the opportunity to practice what they have learned. Additionally, the coaching sessions with the learner's managers would allow for feedback and reinforcement of the concepts learned in the training. Finally, the follow-ups 30, 60, and 90 days after the training would allow for assessment of the learner's progress and identify any areas where additional support may be needed.
