Choose a topic for your first paper: This is just a topic selection. The paper will be written base on this information.
1. You will select a high profile, contemporary criminal case of your choosing. The essence of assignment is to address the issues, legal considerations, and concepts that arise from initial investigation through adjudication of the case.
The case must incorporate all aspects of the criminal justice system-from investigation, to arrest, evidence, court proceedings, and eventually sentencing.
Format for Topic Selection
• One Page double spaced with cites and references
• APA Format
• Title page
• Reference Page
• Double spaced - 12 pt font.
• Keep to third person in academic papers - do not use "I" or "we".
2. You also must do an annotated bibliography on the topic you chose above with at least seven (7) valid sources that you will use as the basis for your paper.
