The following video documents the journey of Grace Lin, a Taiwanese (Chinese) American children's book author and illustrator who as a child was influenced by the books and media she experienced. Lin is candid about how she perceived herself, engaged in self-reflection, and made changes to how she negotiates the world and her role in it. Her book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon received a 2010 Newbery Honor.
