As we've seen throughout the term, the Cold War era was very dangerous. When the Soviet Union collapsed, it perhaps seemed as though the world became a safer place. Was this actually the case? What security concerns have worsened since the end of the Cold War? Is the world more or less stable than it was prior to 1991?
