Learning Activity - Crafted Surfboard
1. The crafted surfboard uses the first step to eco-effectiveness, get "free of" known culprits, as the designers have been able to create an effective board from changing the materials for the better. They've gotten rid of potentially hazardous chemicals and materials and started from scratch with cardboard and bees wax materials.
2. The designers have also followed step 4, activating the positive list, by putting the design into action, focusing only on limited materials with less environmental impact.
3. Lastly, the designers have followed step five perfectly, reinventing something completely. They have ire-invented what any surfer or designer thought could be used to surf on and challenged the norm for the greater good.
