For this assignment you will also use the articles "Leadership Lessons from India", "Identity Issues in Teams", and "Dual Identity: Indians as Customers, Competitors, and Collaborators" available under the Readings tab of Blackboard.

1. As Luc Bonnard how would you evaluate Silvio's first seven months as general manager of the Indian company? What advice would you offer? Use concepts from the article "Leadership Lessons from India" in your response.

2. How would you coach Silvio on his management style and approach moving forward? Support your response with concepts from either "Dual Identity: Indians as Customers, Competitors, and Collaborators" or "Identity Issues in Teams".

3. There are multiple cultural dimensions (GLOBE and Hofstede) at play in understanding this case. In what way do you see cultural differences in these dimensions impacting Silvio's work at Schindler India? Note that Silvio is an Italian working in a Swiss company operating in India.

4. What should Silvio do about the order for the glass-walled elevators? What action would you recommend Silvio to take with respect to the transfer pricing and sourcing problems with European plants?
