As humans do want to feel like we are useful we want to

As humans, do want to feel like we are useful. We want to know that our work is contributing to a bigger picture and seek recognition. While not all people are like that, most would probably agree that committing to something of value does have a positive impact in our lives. Whether it is work, family, school, or relationship related commitment is something most people seek. Motivating employees to succeed is usually based around praise or material compensation. I think it takes time for a global leader to understand what time of motivational incentives to consider using when operating in a different culture. These needs will vary by individual and culture. Some employees just want to be recognized for their hard work. Others seek financial compensation. Of course both would satisfy everyone, but we usually have one need that is greater than the other.

What are your toughts on the above statement do you agree or did agree?
