As a soon-to-be media practitioner, you will encounter many legal issues in the media industry. In this assignment, you are required to examine one main legal issue that media practitioners (i.e. journalists, public relations practitioners, advertisers, broadcasters) face in the course of their daily work.

In your paper, you should be able to describe the legal issue, using relevant examples, and also explain how it affects the media practitioner and its impact on the industry. At the end, you should be able to suggest solutions and guidelines that would help a media professional avoid legal problems while being on the job.

1. The individual assignment should not exceed FIVE (5) pages in length (excluding cover page, references and attachments), double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font. Any content that EXCEEDS the allocated pages will NOT be marked.
